Introducing The Sonoma County Experience

We’re excited to introduce you to world of wine, craft beer and cannabis! We’ve officially launched The Sonoma County experience, and now we’re kicking off our first blog post about the beauty, learning opportunities and fun to be had in Northern California’s Sonoma County.

Why did we start this company? The answer is easy. We wanted to give visitors the opportunity to experience all that Sonoma County has to offer when it comes to world-class beer, wine, and now, newly-legal cannabis.

We know how it is — you’re visiting the Bay Area and want to explore the city, the bay, wine country, and possibly even Silicon Valley. There are so many options and so much to explore. We started this tour and made sure to provide an experience that lets you get a solid day that covers everything you want in an adventure out to wine (…beer…and cannabis) country, and back to the city with no other worries but to enjoy the ride.

For a long time, Northern California’s renowned wine country has been a top destination for travelers from every corner of the world. There’s no denying that Sonoma, Napa, Calistoga and even Carmel and Monterey have been on the hot list for wine lovers everywhere. The wine here is good, and there’s no comparison to the weather, scenery and entire experience of visiting Sonoma County, period. Especially not with just an easy 45 minute drive outside a bustling city like San Francisco. We’ll take you to a variety of wineries and vineyards to show you how they do it here in Sonoma County.

In more recent years, the craft brew culture has boomed in the area, making Santa Rosa the official microbrewery capital of the United States. You’ve got Russian River Brewing, Lagunitas, 101 North, Henhouse, Barrel Brother’s and tons of others for anyone looking to taste and take home some of the best beer out there. Our experiences include exclusive brewery tours and tastings.

So what’s up with cannabis? In 2018 with Prop 64, it became recreationally legal for adults 21 years and older to purchase and consume marijuana in California. People are familiar with weed, but there hasn’t been much awareness around the true benefits, ways to consume (or not), quality and overall dosage education of cannabis. That’s where The Sonoma County Experience and our destinations come in. We’ve partnered with the top cannabis businesses in the country to help educate anyone interested through tours of farms, extraction labs, and dispensaries that shed light on the true reasons cannabis is so great.

What a lot of people don’t realize is the similarities between the production of wine, beer and cannabis products in Sonoma County. From grape vineyards and marijuana plant farms to indoor, industrial breweries and production sites for cannabis products, Sonoma County’s makeup is the perfect place for the three thriving industries. The soil, weather, and overall agriculture help create the best of the best. Sonoma County is truly the only place to enjoy all three: craft beer, wine and cannabis, with top-notch quality and scenic views that can’t be beat.

We run full-day experiences that start and end at Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco. Our tours include transportation, complimentary beverages on the ride up, lunch, and all tastings. Join us for the next Craft Beer + Cannabis experience on May 11th!
