Team Building with The Galley

The cannabis industry is a volatile industry right now. With companies trying to navigate the forever changing regulations, dial in their operations, and trying to juggle the everyday nuances that come with running a new business in a brand new industry, they can get lost in the day-to-day. 

What better way to get your team out of the office and strengthening the bond than to take them for a team building activity -- and that’s just what The Galley did! A co-manufacturing cannabis company out of Santa Rosa, they were seeking a fun day to bring their team together through visiting other cannabis operators and learn what they’re all about.

This day was really fun because we showcased two new partners that we’ll be using for our experiences. We started with our usual, eye-opening stops at CannaCraft and Solful, then stopped at Seismic Brewing Co. With a brand new tap room that just opened at the Barlow in Sebastopol, it is a great, open space that has a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. It was a great place for craft beer tastings and lunch and can’t wait to bring regular groups there!

Another partner we stopped by was Flora Terra, a dispensary that also boasts a vertically stacked LED indoor cultivation operation next door. We got a private, up close and personal look at this sophisticated cultivation set up that includes cloning and processing. Once our group was able to see how their grow their product, we walked into the retail space to see where it ends up on the shelf! Full life cycle of the plant.

We’re excited to add these two new stops to our tours, as well as continue to host companies of all kids to educate and inform about the cannabis industry!
