Your guide to our 6 favorite dispensary stops and surrounding Food & Drinks in Sonoma County
We’re working on opening up! Of course, there’s lots to think about as the pandemic (hopefully) comes to an end, or at least to a place where we can start to host guests again.
While we can’t take you on tours quite yet, we put together a list of six dispensary stops in Sonoma County for your California cannabis adventure. If weed isn’t your jam we also included some great wine, beer and food stops near each dispensary.
Looking for something to do? Our #winecountryyoga pop ups are officially on this May to October at various locations in Sonoma County. Check out the schedule here and follow @winecountryexperiences for updates on these outdoor classes.
If you’re coming from San Francisco, we put these in order from Southern Sonoma County up to the North.
Petaluma & Cotati
Petaluma is already a popular destination thanks to Lagunitas Brewing and other great microbreweries. Nearby is one of our favorite dispensaries, Mercy Wellness of Cotati. Pick up what you need and make your way to downtown Petaluma where you’ll find shopping and tons of restaurants. Shoutout to Brewsters on the river for good food and beer!
Southern Santa Rosa
If you’re looking for a unique experience inside of a dispensary, look no further than Doobie Nights. With a DJ at the center of the store, a 360 degree light show, and tons of products sprawled all over the shelf displays, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for and have fun while you’re at it. Make your way to nearby downtown Santa Rosa where the original Russian River Brewing is located, as well as tons of other restaurants. Henhouse Brewing isn’t far and has also has a great selection of local beer.
Northern Santa Rosa
Flora Terra is definitely one of our top dispensary stops. Don’t be fooled by the tucked away, suburban location. You’ll find a clean, modern dispensary with a window into their very own grow room. You’ll see the whole set up with plants while you shop for your weed. If you’re looking for local beer, Cooperage Brewing is nearby and typically has food trucks set up.
Sebastopol
Solful is a close partner of ours and probably our favorite place to go. They carry a variety of products, all outdoor grown. They have a cool, coffee shop feel, and everyone is super helpful so you can find exactly what you’re looking for. You can’t go to Solful without a stop at The Barlow about 5 minutes away. It’s an indoor/outdoor market with many places for beer, wine, shopping, food, coffee and more.
Guerneville
If you’re visiting the Russian River Valley you’ll be happy to know Riverside Wellness is there for all your cannabis needs. Right next door is The Farmhand where you can grab a bite to eat, something to drink, and a place to chill alongside the river. And of course, just across the lot is Stumptown Brewing where you can taste all the local, craft beers.
Napa
Last but not least, if you’re visiting Napa and are a medical cardholder, be sure to stop at the new Abide dispensary. Modern and cute, it has all your medical marijuana needs. Of course, Napa is known for it’s wineries and good food, but if you’re looking for something casual and fun, stop by the Oxbow Market for your choice of food, wine, and beer all in one place.
